I wanted my living room emulsioned, ceiling and walls with a feature wall picked out on the chimney breast, the wood work (skirting and door frame painted).

Sam advised me on what paint would suit, and showed me a colour card he helped me choose two colours which complimented each other. He advised me on the best paint for the woodwork, he recommended scuff -x , which has a lovely smooth finish and is hard wearing.

Sam thoroughly explained what he would do through out the work.Floor and furniture were covered for protection and everything put back when the job was completed, very clean and tidy.

The work was done to complete satisfaction, very sharp cutting in , thoroughly pleased with the job from start to finish.

Sam has carried out numerous painting projects for us now, and his work is exemplary. In the latest project, Sam got involved in helping us choose shades and contrasts in a complete make-over of our lounge. It included removing stubborn wall paper from the walls and quite a lot of wall prep.

He gave advice on which walls to have different colours on and was happy to sit with us with the colour charts and guide us. He has an eye for what works and what doesn’t !

He was punctual, incredibly clean & tidy and maticulous in his work. The transformation of our lounge was fantastic and we were over the moon.

We were tired of our old rosewood UPVC windows which were starting to show their age facing direct south, but we didn’t really fancy the cost and most of all the disruption of having the frames replaced and subsequent damage to put right - that’s where Sam came in! We asked if he could paint them for us, from start to finish he was excellent.

He measured up, gave us a fair quote and dealt with everything - the finish he achieved following his preparation work was amazing, we knew at every step what was happening and why, how long it would take and we are amazed with the outcome.

Excellent work from a local person, will definitely be recommending him to anyone and everyone that needs a painter or decorator and would use him again in an instant.

I have recently undertaken a whole house renovation and I got Sam in to paint some of the largest rooms after he was recommended to me. What a great decision.

Sam is a true professional; conscientious to the property, diligent and thorough in his prep and the paint work is nothing short of perfect. Budgetary restrictions meant I painted some of the "lesser" rooms myself.

What I found incredible was how helpful Sam was with this, on hand to make sure I was preparing properly, using the right materials and executing painting techniques correctly. Sam was recommended as we had a water leak. Sam turned up and I have to say he arrived early and put in a hard days work. We hired Sam to assist us with the painting of our walls and ceilings across 3 landing floors (including up each set of stairs). Sam came out to see us prior to the work to measure up and provided us with a really reasonable quote for the level of work to be done. What can I say? Cannot fault Sam’s work ethic , arrived nice and early and got on with the job of painting all of our lounge out. The standard of Sam’s work is second to none. Just got to talk hubby round for hall stairs and landing.
